APC is presenting new generation of racks and racks' equipment that is developed in the line with current trends on IT market of high density Data Centers and network applications.

When designing a server cabinets, server rooms, data centers and flexible rack solutions, APC racks provide a fully secure and independent environment for housing IT equipment. There are racks for server and networking equipment compatible with the 19'' equipment of all manufacturers in accordance with EIA-310 approval. Dimensions and large static load of APC racks makes them suitable for installation of the latest generation of servers and distribution equipment.

Providing maximum flexibility and the ability to add extensible equipment - compatible accessories like shelves, accessories for horizontal and vertical distribution cable, patch panels, cooling systems for the improvement, blanking panels, roof rails and cables etc...

APC racks are available in several models that have next characteristics:

• Perforated ventilating doors

• Vertical inner rail adjustable for mounting of deferent equipment depth

• Ability to add equipment for active cooling on door, upper and lower rack's sides

• Integrated managment of cables trough the cable channels - allows very easy access to a large number of cables, even when loaded with equipment cabinet and mounted in a row

• Symmetrical design - in situations when you need to open doors on the other hand, it is possible to turn the door and mount them on the other side

• Double wing rear doors allow easy acces to equipment

• Integrated grounding provides increased protection against electricshock and reduce EMI interference. The grounded side panels and roof eliminate thee need for additional cinductors. Front and rear doors have a factory-earthed metal ventilating network

• Racks have the option of cable systems positioned on the top or bottom side

• Side panels are devided into two parts and can be completly removed, allowing complete access to equipment. Easy to expand and merge into the racks.

• Possibility of power distribution on the back, using PDU that do not occuy any rack position (zero unit PDU), provide increased access to the socket and number of cables that can be introduced into the cabinet

APC offers several types of racks depending on the strength and size of required equipment accommodation:

NetShelter SX

NetShelter SX racks generation, provides reliable storage ofsensitive IT equipment - is designed with a focus on coolin, power distribution, cable managment and control of critical customer data center. Depending on specific needs of users, are available 19'' models height 24U, 42U or 48U. Static load capacity is over 1300kg, the NetShelter SX stands out in the market. Racks have depth that is slightly larger than standard: 1070mm or 1200mm, which is suitible for installation of the latest generation of servers and distributione equipment.

NetShelter VL

NetShelter VL generation is cost-effective model racks in any IT environment. It is designed for reliable storage of sensitive IT equipment with a focus on cooling, power distribution and cable management, but with additional features such as side panels and rear cable channels that reduce the basic cost of production. This model is designed to have basic functionality and features, making more economical solution.

Available in 19'' racks of 42U level for the server equipment, with or without sides. Static load capacity is 1050kg.

Cable management

 

Cable management is a comprehensive range of accessories for organizing cables, depending on customer needs. In accordance with the current trends of increased density of IT equipment, there is an increased need for organizing cables in and out of the rack. Cables that are inadequately organized block air flow and customer access, which causes inefficient operation of equipment. APC integrated management of cables through the cable channels allows an easy access to a large number of cables, even when loaded with equipment cabinet and mounted in row.

 

Cable Ladders: a comprehensive range of accessories for the organization of data cables within the rack environment.

Data Cable Partitions: allows installation of additional cable guides on the roof of racks. This is the way for the current philosophy of cabling through the raised floor to be left out if necessary. At a certain distance from copper and fiber optic data cables, bracket of power cables are mounted. The roof is additionally coated with a protective layer to minimize the possibility of damage, there are different options and variations for cable in the racks.

Horizontal Cable Organizers: the possibility of horizontal organization of cables within the rack, from the front of rear.

Rack LCD consoles

Rack console is an integrated keyboard, LCD monitor (15'' or 17'') and a mouse that is adapted for mounting in a rack. Optimizes the space in the rack, taking a 1U space. Used to manage in different environments, from small to the largest Data Centers.

KVM SWITCHES

 

APC KVM switches allow IT administrators to access servers in the data center and remote locations. Provides centralized management of multiple servers with just one keyboard, monitor and mouse. They are available analog and digital models with 8 or 16 ports, with corresponding cables to connect.

Power supply

In line with current trends in the IT market, a need for reliable distribution of electricity for equipment located in a rack is growing. Distribution units provide opportunities for horizontal and vertical installation without tools. Power is unilaterally using standard connectors. The choice of many types of outlets is given.
